About Clap ‘n Load Studios
Clap ‘n Load Studios was established in 2019 by Irish director and producer John Kelly. John studied Film and Television Production in Pulse College in 2017, and after working on 25 short films, music videos and documentaries in 2018, decided to set up his own production company in order to bring his filmmaking to the next level.
Clap ‘n Load Studios’ goal is to bring together some of Ireland’s best film talent in the production of standout narrative and documentary content, as well as facilitate and provide high-quality production services to a variety of projects across the country. Clap ‘n Load Studios aims to be your one-stop-shop for all your production needs from equipment/costume/prop rental, to producing services, to finding crew, and providing services such as catering, drone operation, post-production and catering. The Team
John Kelly | Director, Producer
John Kelly founded Clap ‘n Load Studios in March 2019 after several years working in the Irish film industry as a sound recordist. John studied Film and Television Production at Pulse College, and founded the company in order to facilitate his ambitious film production goals.
Derek Masterson | Writer
Derek Masterson joined Clap ‘n Load Studios as our in-house writer in 2021, after working on the documentary project Visionaries. Over the years, Derek has worked primarily in the theatrical world, with fifteen professional stage productions to date including critically acclaimed Bound, Angel, and A Nice Bed to Die In to name a few
